Organization

The program is mainly financed by oil-gas companies.

Each company funds one candidate (based on standard NRC rates), and the scope of the candidate is determined in discussions between the company and ourselves. We thus avoid the troublesome efforts of having several companies to agree on one common scope of work in a common JIP, and the administration costs are kept at a minimum (no committes).

The main scope of the work for the candidates should be within Multiphase Transport, and preferable within the areas of flow and gas hydrates.

Whenever possible, we seek added funding from the Norwegian Research Council (NRC), in particular for experimental projects requiring laboratory costs.

We issue yearly short reports on the activities. See the last report:
